Día 55 / Day 55

Krasnoyarsk, October 9th 2010, hiking on the mountain.

We are not in Bariloche, we are not in San Martin de los Andes neither in La Angostura, we are in Russia and of course there is snow. We visited a ski centre today but you can’t use it in that way so far, but they told us that in a couple of days it will be possible to use it. We bought the tickets for the lift and from the highest point we climb to the top for 7km in the middle of the forest, finally we found a very old rocky mountain in the end. In the beginning everything was green and yellow, because of the autumn, but later it was white and colder, the rain stopped and the snow began and just because of the change of height. We walked 3 hours to the top and 2 hours to the base, I was sure that in the top we were going to find a luxury restaurant but unfortunately we found only rocks and our lunch was at 18hs. Here in the picture you can see me in the middle of the road thinking if continue climbing or come back for a meal.
